(28,394 posts)I used to watch him on MSNBC and I really thought he was a liberal, especially when covering the protests against Walker. I have no respect for a person who has no principles.

(14,631 posts)Why would we not as Democrats embrace pro-worker and pro-union positions? Why would we not embrace the role of the 'worker's party?'
Why this survey? Did Ed commit some gaffe?

(13,340 posts)Also, not all "pro-worker" positions are necessarily REALLY pro-worker.
Also, he's completely dropped his criticisms of Putin and Russia now that he is on RT.
Fuck 'em.

(99,724 posts)Both were conservatives who went left in search of a pay raise. Both slam mainstream Democrats. The constant is they were both always on the opposite of the Democratic party. Interesting.

And is back being a conservative again.
He was before but allegedly saw the light and became a liberal and was on MSNBC. When they didn't re-sign him he went where the money was and is now a conservative on RT and is speaking at CPAC.
Good riddance. We don't need phonies looking for a paycheck masquerading as liberals.

(11,101 posts)Let's face it, most radio hosts, regardless of their politics, got the gig for their radio voice and not because of how smart they are. I agree with Randi Rhodes a lot of the time but if you listen very long you realize that rocket science is not in her future. I'm not generally looking to disc jockeys for guidance.

(10,199 posts)I know he's gone to RT after Comcast fired him from MSNBC, and I'm very sad. I think he needs $, but I still feel positively about him for bringing his show to Madison to shine a light on what Walker did to our State. I'm sorry we lost him.
BTW, What happened in Wisconsin is what Trump is doing to the entire country right now. A dry run, if you will, and no one seemed to give a shit.

(1,606 posts)I vaguely recall him being super pro-union etc when he was on Air America, but apparently he just changed back to being a conservative pundit.
