Midtterm elections 2018: All 33 seats in Senate class 1 + All 435 voting seats in House up for grabs

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_elections,_2018#

The 2018 United States elections will mostly be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. These midterm elections will take place in the middle of Republican President Donald Trump's term. All 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives and 34 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate will be contested. 39 state and territorial governorships and numerous other state and local elections will also be contested.

Class 1 consists of:

States with a Class 1 senator: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

It won’t be a surprise if the election will be a protest vote against the mad "trumpish" delusional polarized politics, with health care, environment, economic reforms, anti corruption and openness “ie..show the taxes,” as the centerpiece.
democratic and independent voters will show up in masse and give the repubs a clear and definitive message.

and am hoping we can hold him. He doesn't seem to be in danger but we need to have some kind of massive turnout for not only him in 2018, but our incumbent (D) Governor Wolf. In fact, since Wolf is up, that tends to up the turnout in general here in PA. We definitely need Wolf back in so he can oversee the 2020 census/redistricting where we got historically screwed by the oft-cited insane gerrymandering after the 2010 census - where this state, that had almost 1 million more registered Ds than Rs, ended up with 13 R reps and only 5 D ones.

Plus I am still pissed that we didn't get Toomey out in 2016.

I follow him on twitter.

Toomey is beyond worthless. I wonder how his "telephone town hall" went?

I participate in my state Senator's telephone town halls (he does them about once every couple months or so). His are fantastic and I have asked all sorts of questions over the past year or so that he has been holding them.

It’s lost on few operatives in either party that Democrats need 24 seats to win back the House and almost exactly that many Republicans hold districts that voted for Clinton. Moreover, about two-thirds of those Republicans are in districts that backed Romney in 2012—albeit in some cases very narrowly—before tipping to Clinton last fall. That could be a preview of the difficulties ahead for them as Trump so aggressively defines the GOP with polarizing actions on issues including climate, trade, and immigration, as well as with his combative personal style.

Hillary won Rhode Island with 252 525 54.4%) votes against Trumps 180 543 ( 38.9 %).

So toomey`s seat should be possible to take home.

As hillary put it:

Pat Toomey heard Donald attack a grieving Gold Star family who lost their son in Iraq, he heard Donald called Mexican immigrants rapists, he heard him say terrible things about women, he heard him spread the lie that our first black president wasn't really born in America," she said.

"Now how much more does Pat Toomey need to hear?" Clinton asked. "If he doesn't have the courage to stand up to Donald Trump after all this, then can you be sure he'll stand up for you when it counts against powerful interests?"

http://www.bostonherald.com/news/columnists/joe_battenfeld/2017/01/battenfeld_charlie_baker_has_to_embrace_trump_crowd

The latest dustup between disgruntled Donald Trump delegates and Gov. Charlie Baker’s state GOP is about way more than just a few inaugural tickets.

The perceived snub the Trump troops feel over having trouble getting seats to their well-deserved celebration is symptomatic of a much larger divide, one that threatens to deny Baker another term in 2018.

Only instead of investing in real estate, his claim to fame is throwing a baseball. He's just as much of a racist hateful turdbag as Trump is. Only he has a bloody sock.
