As trump stops refugees from immigrating, let's remember this email HRC sent

http://documents.latimes.com/2140346-c05760347/

How stupid were the #demexit, #jillnothill, #bernieorbust people?

Maybe not stupid at all, maybe just racist and unempathetic. After all it's not like these policies are directly affecting most of them.

This was a personal email that Clinton never expected to be made public.

My state voted for the fool Trump by 10%. It sickens me.

No.

This is not about the primary. This was well after primaries were over and she won by 4 million votes.

And I thought it was the Russians. Or Comey. Or voter-suppression. Or the alt-left.

btw, you need a left before you can have an alt-left.

Who voted for the huckster Jill Stein.

Also, I was referring to her primary margin, as you accused me of refighting primary.

Many things helped take her down but the alt left was a def and loud part of it.

This site it created specifically to support Democrats not the hucksters of the Green Party.

and "4 million votes" wasn't the margin in either one.

Democratic Party registration was 30% going into the election, and stands at 25% now. If you want to support Democrats or the Democratic Party, I'd look into ways of broadening the appeal, instead of shrinking it.

I never said a word about the Green Party: if you wish to extrapolate from my screen name, do note that "-green" is not capitalized. I am "green" because I am and always have been an environmentalist, I am "trueblue" because I am and always have been a Democrat. An FDR Democrat, not the current variety which, in my view, moved to the "center" to become more "electable" (and able to get corporate cash) and has now failed on precisely those terms: Hillary raised 1.2 billion and lost the election to Donald Trump.

Seems to me that is a wake-up call that should be heeded.

Are you saying that any competition is "falsely maligning" her?

Whatever. It is over, and I doubt she will be back. But she did ask an excellent question: "Why aren't I 50 points ahead?" They talked all kinds of smack about Obama too (there's your racism) and he won twice.

She won the primary, people should have moved on and supported the nominee, just like has Bernie won the primary, I would have had to.

I pulled -6s or -7s on their graph, way to the left of Bernie and in the lower left of the quadrant with Mandela and Gandhi. Compared to Drumpf she is Mandela or Gandhi.

BTW, I am aware that some have pulled lower ? higher? than that, but it still puts me to the left of 99% or so of my fellow inhabitants of this earth.

http://www.revelist.com/politics/hillary-clinton-nujood-ali/5560/true-to-her-word-clinton-met-up-with-ali-two-years-later/2

...
In her private emails, Clinton expressed a seemingly genuine concern for the people she met as secretary of state. Perhaps nothing illustrates this better than an email Clinton sent to a staff member in August 2009.
“Do you recall Noori Ali(?)” Clinton wrote, referring to Nujood Ali, the first child bride ever to secure a divorce in Yemen. “...There was a CNN story last few days about how unhappy she is, still living at home, not attending school and quite angry that her life is not better. Is there any way we can help her? Could we get her to the US for counselling and education?”
Clinton had met Ali the year before, when the 10-year-old was awarded Woman of the Year at the 2008 Glamour Awards. Since then, Ali’s life had taken a turn for the worse. She struggled to buy food and couldn’t afford transportation to school. Her family seemed to resent her for not providing for them with her newfound fame.
True to her word, Clinton met up with Ali two years later.

The secretary of state reconnected with Ali during a trip to Yemen in 2011. She called Ali to the stage during a local town hall meeting and called the girl her “hero.” Later, she reported that Ali had re-enrolled in school, and that her lawyer, Shada Nasser, was still taking cases for Yemeni girls.
“I often say that one of my goals as Secretary of State is to help people everywhere live up to their God-given potential,” Clinton wrote in a reflection for Glamour. “Few have fought as hard for it as Nujood Ali and Shada Nasser. I'm honored to know them. We all should share their cause.”

Ali’s autobiography is now a best-seller in France, and serves as the basis for a full-length film headed to the 2017 Oscars.
