Is the enemy of our enemy our friend?

I see a lot of people rallying around CNN, but honestly CNN played a big part in electing tRump. As documented here we know the part most news organizations played. So while CNN is the enemy of tRump I'm still not convinced they are our friends.

but we can hope that they turn the corner and realize what they have wrought.

They are not our friend now, but they could be, in the future.

Realistically, probably not, they'll just become another mouthpiece for Gropey the Clown.

But, we can hope.

to find a scrap of hope someplace.

I'm seriously just looking for a thread to grab and there isn't one.

Dems aren't going to do anything.

Press won't do their job either.

I'm at the point of thinking there is nothing to be hopeful about. We'll never have a real election again and this clown will be our emperor because he says so and everyone else is too afraid to say anything about it.

But there is a tiny, tiny, really tiny piece in the far recesses of my brain that says SOMEBODY is working hard to try to stop trump.

I am not even going to hope. Just keep that miniscule thought there.. in case it happens.
Then I can say I KNEW IT I KNEW IT !!

why do folks here always think some so-called news organization has changed their ways every time they say something we think is actually right?

It's just $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Just wait until Sat or Sun...

and they've got Carl Bernstein on the case. It doesn't mean their past crap is irrelevant, but one need not love them to take note of the story.

At least they aren't bending over backwards to cover Trump's ass, like MSNBC.

Also, I think the tendency to see people and organizations in black or white terms is not productive.

Last night they were insisting the material given to Trump and Obama regarding the Russia-Trump connected was labeled "disinformation." No one else has reported that and frankly it makes no sense they would include disinformation they regarded as false.

But not our friend.

Right now, the list of "media" friends I have is down to a few journalists, but even then, I take whatever they would report with a wary eye, depending on their sourcing.

Gathering around to see what they've got, and waiting to see how they develop the story. That's really all we can do, as pathetic as that sounds.
