Is anyone annoyed when Schumer says if republicans break healthcare, they own it?

It's not a game, it's people's lives. It CAN'T be allowed to become any more broken. Why does DC care so much about who owns things instead of who these things effect?

I expect I will be calling out several "Democrats" when they go spineless and sell out the ACA. And I will call them out. If they sell out to the Republicans on this, yhey are scum, pure and simple. I hope DU is not determined to defend such behavior just because they claim to be "Democrats," or I will be ejected. No compromise, my fellow Democrats. Time to get our hands dirty and kick some ass.

and then they will crow that both parties combined to kill people.

It would be really nice to see the Democrats join together just for once and vote against that sack of shit and his anti American citizen agenda, but it's not likely to happen.

but I sincerely doubt he's going to get most Democrats to go along with it, so relax.

Yes, it's peoples' lives. It's been our lives for decades and until there's enough of a rebellion to get the GOP out of office along with the "business friendly" Democrats and get the greedhead insurance industry out of the system, it will continue to be our lives on the line.

Remember, they're still picking us off because we can't afford to pay high deductibles and copays. We're still waiting far too long to seek treatment and we're still being killed by a bad system. We're also still being overcharged for the medicines we need to stay alive.

George Bush cares about the mess he made in the Middle East. I truly believe republicans enjoy the suffering of those they consider less than they.

It's what he *should* be saying IMHO. Republicans are looking for cover from Dems because they know that repealing ACA will be a clusterf**k but are still intent on doing it anyway. Dems don't have much power to stop it, esp if Republicans use reconciliation, but at least Dems can refuse to provide Republicans with a helping hand in sharing the blame for the resulting tragedy.
