10. Yep. I don't think Romney will even get the offer.

Most likely, Trump is just doing this to humiliate him for his opposition prior to the election. Just like he did to Ted Cruz, when he short-listed "Lyin' Ted" for Attorney General, or whatever it was.

...Trump has publicly considered, but Trump likes messing with people's heads more than anything in the world. Every time something like this comes up with his former political rivals, I just shake my head and say, "Look what he did to Chris Christie."

We didn't have a fly on the wall for that meeting, regretfully.

That said, I'd rather have Rmoney as SOS than say fucking John "Coo Coo Cachook" Bolton. (Not much better, but better.)

If he is smart he will realize that he has nothing to win by taking it. Trump won't listen to him and Trump and his minions will blame him for anything that goes wrong.

Businessman Wilbur Ross is a leading contender for commerce secretary

By Phil Mattingly and Matt Egan
NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Billionaire investor Wilbur Ross is a leading contender to be President-elect Donald Trump's commerce secretary, an official familiar with the transition process told CNN.

Ross, 78, a renowned distressed debt investor, met with Trump Sunday at the New York billionaire's Bedminster, New Jersey golf course. Trump, asked before the meeting if he was considering Ross for the position, told reporters: "That's what we're looking for."

The commerce secretary, a cabinet-level position that requires Senate confirmation, typically serves as the government's chief business advocate. The commerce secretary is a liaison between companies and the White House.

The official cautioned that no final decision had been made, but made clear that Ross is, at this point, is being considered very seriously.
