I just listened to the hearing for the suit the gop brought. apparently as long as there is a line, you can get in it. The polls wont close as long as there is a line. There is no "last person" card used.

I've been a poll watcher and have been asked to just go stand at the end of the line and anybody behind me got there too late.

Only happened once. In my town, things are usually pretty efficient. I got there 10 minutes before they opened this morning and left at 4 minutes after 6.
