Anybody else notice a strange lack of polling following the first debate?

There were polls several times a week, sometimes two or more appearing in one day back at the beginning, spring and summer of this year.

Poll after poll all the way up until it actually matters.

Not into CT's but if they are running out of money it sure looks like piss poor planning to me.

one has to look for them. I never see them in the google news feed and they aren't all over the tv news, and everyone is looking for them since the debate seems like such a game-changer.

what I do see is a lot of question stories along the lines of "did the debate change the playing field?", and I have to google "polls: 2016" to see anything since. most of them are still about the debate. NO ONE is willing to say that she has substantially pulled ahead, and it would appear that she has.

I was wondering more about the state to state polls like in FL for instance.

Was curious about the internals too.

I may have been a bit lazy in actively seeking them out but I just thought it odd that early on one didn't have to do a lot of searching, they were in-your-face, fast and furious even if one just listened to MSM now and then like the general public does. It seems like back then the public was clobbered over the head with polls all the time when it really didn't matter that much except for primaries.

It gets to the first debate and then ... not so much afterward.

I see yeoman is right now - it's budget mostly and if so - that's piss poor planing.

Perhaps the quality polls are taking longer for accuracy. Would to hear what the Democratic Party internal polls are showing. I think it must be good since the Clinton's are both in Ohio today.

4. I know morning joke has posited this claim but I've

saw several new polls last week. All in Hillary's favor.

8. I didn't check today, but I haven't seen any polls from Ohio since the debate.

I also only checked RealClearPolitics and 538 for recent polls, so maybe I missed some Ohio polls mentioned elsewhere?

EDIT: If anyone has seen a post-debate Presidential poll in Ohio (exclusively conducted after the debate), please let me know. This is the closest that I've found, and it was an unscientific poll conducted only in Cuyahoga County (which is very Democratic): http://www.cleveland.com/articles/19370809/hillary_clintons_lead_in_cuyah_1.amp

It showed a bump of 3% for Clinton (her percentage increase and Trump's decrease combined).

9. I don't think budget cutbacks are the reason. I think the polls disprove the horse race narrative.

As such, they are not being released or even acknowledged. Trump has been a cash cow for the media so they have plenty of money to conduct polls.
