Long ago this was). She is horrific. She just said that Obama is flying people in from Central America to live here and turn states blue. I'm a little stunned. I'm wondering if anyone else is watching this. I haven't ever really listened to her for more than a few seconds before this. I don't use the word evil very often but I feel she is.

(10,252 posts)Much more sophisticated than Sarah Palin. More savvy into politics than Trump. She has long nurtured a reputation for saying crazy over the line stuff. I suspect that she's an Ayn Rander at heart. She writes and promotes right-wing sensationalist books. I don't think she believes half the crap she says, especially on the cultural issues like abortion and gay rights. Her sticht is to sell her books and be a RW celebrity. Her whole presentation is to pitch her books to the RW conspiracy creeps and stupid Christian fundies and racists. She does it for the money. Don't let her bother you. It's all a calculated act.

(1,306 posts)She is supposedly a graduate of Princeton, so she cannot be stupid.
She is cunning enough to know how to sell books and get on cable TV -- all
of which pays her big bucks. I would bet she is laughing (at her dupes) all
the way to the bank, knowing that most of what she spouts is pure shine-ola.
She has made millions by being an outrageous, provocative flamethrower.
But this does not excuse her from being evil, because her words effect the
lives of other people and have negative consequences.

(10,252 posts)What many of us are seeing is the depravity of the RW Republicans for hate and fear-mongering, and the cowardice of "regular Republicans" for not publicly criticizing the RWers. The regulars are all about acquiring money at any costs. The RWers are all about envy and superior/inferior issues - white supremacy. Ann Coulter is an Ayn Rander, who's in it for the do-re-mi. I laugh at her as she demurely poses in a short skirt, crosses her legs, and flips her long blond hair at the guy interviewers. She should go to Hollywood and make bad girl movies. Except she's too old now.

Said book was launched the very day Trump reversed his stance on immigration.
I think Ann haz a sad.

The tour kicked off the day after Trump signaled his immigration policy (du jour) might not be absolutist "deport 'em all and block all muslims". Ann was sooooo pleased with that development.

The best part was that he made noises about waffling on the ONE ISSUE she specifically said in her new book, that he couldn't, shouldn't and wouldn't waffle on.
On the very day her book came out.

(12,592 posts)So many zingers were aimed her way that when it was her turn to speak she said, "Welcome to the roast of Ann Coulter, featuring Rob Lowe."
Here are some of the statements:
Former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning had a joke about her appearance, too: "I just realized that I'm not the only athlete up here tonight. As you all know, earlier this year Ann Coulter won the Kentucky Derby."
There were also lines about Coulter's political views. "Ann Coulter has written 11 books, 12 if you count Mein Kampf," said comedian Nikki Glaser. "Ann, you're awful. The only person you will ever make happy is the Mexican who digs your grave."
"She seems stiff and conservative, but Ann gets wild in the sheets. Just ask the Klan," said Roast Master David Spade. "It looks like shes having a good time. I havent seen her laugh this hard since Trayvon Martin got shot."
Folk singer Jewel won the crowd over with this: As a feminist I cant support everything thats been said tonight," she said, "but as someone who hates Ann Coulter, Im delighted.
