That cop who killed that 73 year old woman in Florida

during that role-playing session had been fired from the Miramar police force for use of excessive force.
I just saw the poor woman's husband crying his eyes out. He had to witness that.

Why would you use a real gun, unloaded or loaded with blanks, in a game (role play)???

Criminally negligent. In this case manslaughter.

it's not particularly relevant to the shooting. This was an accident born out of stupidity on the part of whoever designed the exercise. It is probably criminally negligent homicide on the part of the person who designed the exercise, and on the part of the cop for not personally double checking the gun. Always assume any gun is loaded.
