He gave a speech I would have expected to hear at a Democratic Convention. Now the big question is was his speech a lie or he was just testing the water to see if the Republicans would fall in line and chew for him. The Republican congress has fail miserably for the last 8 years now they find Republicans cheering for Democratic ideas.

create even more. To me, he's the USA version of Hitler. Similar tactics.

14th amendment failed on its first go-round, and barely squeaked through after Mr Lincoln did some extensive arm-twisting. And that was with a rump legislature that didn't have any of the southern states seated. I think that indicates it would be unlikely that a wave of enlightenment would have flooded the nation after the war was over.

Thank you for the more accurate description it is spot on. I actually think you said that very well.

Your post is much better than the several posts I have seen today (alone) comparing Trump to a man who ended the lives of millions upon millions (some estimate up to 50 million) of humans. Once again thank you for keeping it in the realm of reality.

Hope you have a good weekend

so I can only say he's the worst I've seen.

From what I've read of history, there might have been a few back in the 1800's who could compete, but I'm not sure.

What Trump is, is loud and without a governor. But that paradoxically makes him less of a liar than a Reagan or a Nixon. As for craziest, that really depends on how you define crazy.

I have no views on his being a mo'fo, but judging from what he has said of his daughter, it wouldn't surprise me.

He & his follows scare the pants off me. I live in red state Mormon, Republican Utah, so I know the sheep will follow lock-step with the "Church" ideology, i.e., M-R.

I was quite surprised to see all the Dems in my county for the Primaries, but alas, we are so overpowered by the Republican voters we just don't stand a chance.

Go Hillary. GOTV. ♡

Although I will confess, I really wasn't paying too much attention at eight years old.
