(29,047 posts)while loving nonhuman milk is strange.
All milk is breast milk. Why is human milk grosser than cow milk?

(1,428 posts)The secretions of some barnyard animal is perfectly fine but the milk of your own species is gross? And if it's that gross why would you feed it to your baby?

(1,858 posts)People who steal from the company fridge are lower than pond scum. They are beneath those that don't flush the toilet.

(9,527 posts)At my job, they had to put a sign on the food pantry donation box to remind people that it wasn't there for them. I'm really hoping that it was somebody who is on hard times, because otherwise, I kind of want to hit them.

(27,813 posts)I worked for years at a large court reporting firm that had a huge kitchen open to witnesses waiting their turn to be examined. The kitchen had a large island, and food was replenished hourly bagels, cream cheese, fresh lox, quiche, egg salad, buttered biscuits, fruit salad in the morning various types of sandwiches, fresh veggies and dips, green salads, sausage rolls, spring rolls, etc. at lunch time bowls of fresh fruit, chips, pretzels, cookies, cakes, tarts, and an array of cheeses available all day. China, silverware, napkins, and condiments set out with the food.
So imagine the shock of our receptionist when she saw a witness go into the kitchen, and emerge eating her lunch out of a Tupperware container shed brought from home which he literally would have had to dig around the back of the fridge to find behind racks of sodas, bottled water, juices and iced teas also all free to clients.
We laughed about that for months, speculating on what kind of person would see all of that free food, but still insist on taking the ONE thing in the kitchen that obviously belonged to someone on staff.
