Former US President George W Bush blasted for DANCING during Dallas shooting memorial

Bush raised eyebrows with his dance moves at a service to remember the five police officers shot dead by snipers at the Dallas Black Lives Matter protest.

Holding hands with his wife, Laura, and Michelle Obama, Bush is seen smiling and dancing while the choir sang "Battle Hymn of the Republic" at the event in the Texas city.

His awkward moves left many on social media cringing and questioning whether his behaviour was appropriate given the somber, emotional occasion.

One Twitter user, Roger Cullins, said: "I usually like Bush - but why in the world was he dancing and being goofy during last song? I was cringing."

Kelly Byrd tweeted: "George Bush dancing to ‘Glory Glory Hallelujah’ at the #DallasMemorial while smirking makes my heart hurt."

The video shows Michelle and Barrack Obama looking at the former President and appearing confused.

Steve Silberman said: "The look on Michelle Obama's face as Bush starts rocking out at a funeral is everything."

Cannot believe the ridiculousness of this man continuing to take energy from the death and misery of others (much of which he caused).

That's what shows from his behavior. He couldn't give two craps about the deaths of the officers and the suffering of the killer (yes, he committed an evil act, and he likely was suffering from PTSD), just as he didn't give two craps about the executions he ordered as governor of Texas, the Iraqis and US soldiers he ordered killed for his war of convenience in the ME (based upon an intentional lie), and the several hundred people who died during the Katrina hurricane. He looks like he's behaving out of context because he cannot immerse himself in the sorrow of the moment, and he has no orientation toward the presumed actions of a former head of state. He can't immerse himself in the sorrow of the moment because he doesn't give a damn. He never did and he never will. He's in la-la land.

Maybe he thinks staying drunk will take his thoughts off his Alzheimers? Maybe the paint fumes from all that therapy painting himself got to him?

You'd have thought his own wife would have quietly told him to knock it off.

Has any US outlet covered this? My local news covered the event, including the song, but did not show the "dancing" or mention it. Seems like our journalists still want to be his little lapdogs.
