In the case of All Lives Matter
as a response to Black Lives Matter - it is so fucking disingenuous - the problem is that for far too long, black lives have mattered less than everyone else's on the societal level.
I wish people would start saying Black Lives Matter, Too - but too many people are too god damned stupid to get it. The ones who aren't too stupid to get it and still don't get it are straight up racist - no excuses. And they most likely LIKE it that way.
I am so angry at the way black people are treated in our society and it seems like nothing will ever change.
I am also extremely sick and tired that cop lives are given so much more value than that of citizens. I keep hearing that cops have a right to go home to their families at night - well guess what? So do all the citizens that encounter them every day. They are given the state sanctioned right to kill citizens - but yet are never held accountable.
Blue lives matter the most, I suppose.
