Was there something that happened to cause him to get off the dime?
We are only days from the convention to nominate the candidates for the Presidency. Did he plan on not making an announcement before the convention?
Should we assume that he is a man of integrity and that he would not operate in such a partisan manner?
Someone once said that nothing happens by accident in Washington...

(65,616 posts)All cases have an eventual ending. As for partisan, Comey was selected by Dubya as his deputy AG. Republicans seemed to like him back then.

(53,978 posts)He made them get off the pot. What was it, 4 days later his wife was finally interviewed and 3 days after that Comey coughed up his recommendation?
Comey seemed angry too that he had to do it ahead of when he planned.
