these fuckers never quit.
"People have been convicted for far less," Ryan said during an interview with Megyn Kelly on Fox News's "The Kelly File," saying that he thought FBI director James Comey "was going to recommend prosecution" based on the FBI director's opening remarks in a press conference Tuesday.
Ryan said the FBI's decision not to recommend charges "underscores the belief that the Clintons live above the law."
Comey said that while there was evidence Clinton and her staff were "extremely careless" with classified information, "no reasonable prosecutor" would bring a case against her in relation to her use of a private email server while secretary of state.

(42,775 posts)That's how they use the taxpayers' money when they play their partisan politics game.
And it's a slight change of pace from that same old obstructionism every day.

(15,374 posts)follow the recommendations. Period.
There was no reason for her to recuse herself. She was not a judge in this case and the FBI came to its conclusions - the ONLY proper ones - after a lengthy investigation of the FACTS.
But thanks for repeating that RWAA (right wing authoritarian autocrat) TP here.

kevin mccarthy on investigating Hillary:
Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), the likely successor to House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), told Fox Newss Sean Hannity explicitly on Tuesday night that the Clinton investigation was part of a strategy to fight and win.
He explained: Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right? But we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping. Why? Because shes untrustable. But no one would have known any of that had happened, had we not fought.
The Republican-led House hasnt been particularly good at governing, but perhaps governing has never been the point. Why govern when theres a future election to influence?

(2,978 posts)I'm no HRC fan and don't like the way she handled this, but that pales in comparison to the behavior of these asses. Issa's a criminal who shouldn't be roaming about in civilized society, much less the House Investigations Committee.

(35,096 posts)The cybernetic clone of the reincarnation of Paul Ryan will hold a hearing to ask why TRON of CTHULHUVILLE, the director of the Interplanetary Bureau of Extraplanar and Temporal Anomaly Investigation hasn't yet reprogrammed the time machine to travel back in time to go back to the Third New United States to have a hearing for the sacred record keeper for their status on activities of the holder of the key to demand answers from the Hive Mind which needs the solution from the Supercomputer which requires a localized rip in the space time continuum from Mandy from the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy parallel universe to have hearing on the hearing on the hearing on the hearing... on Hillary Clinton's something. He just knows it's bad... real bad.

(6,537 posts)they will strategically leak tidbits of what they think will prove her nefarious and Machiavellian schemes to gain power, they will once again overreach, turning victory into defeat, wondering all the while why the rest of us don't see the same perfidy in her that the Republican party does as we will elect her to the highest office in the land.
