Twitter blew up yesterday over a pretty controversial image Donald Trump posted of Hillary Clinton with a Star of David calling her corruptand with said star in front of a background of money. Heres the image in question:
Now, Trumps supporters have still been going over the top to defend The Donald. How, you ask? By (and Im not kidding here) saying that sheriffs around the country have six-point star badges, ergo its all cool. Well, now we know where the image came from.
It apparently started on Twitter by user @FishBoneHead1, whowhen the controversy broke out yesterdaywanted to be clear they were responsible:

Mic was first to report today that the image made its way to the 8chan message board /pol/. (To give you some idea of what youre in for, as of this posting there is a post on /pol/ with a picture of Elie Wiesel with the caption DING DONG THE KIKE IS DEAD. So yeah, its that kind of message board.)

Behind the Aegis
(54,066 posts)It is disturbing people are trying to downplay it. It is disturbing that some are "outraged" but often use anti-Semitism themselves or mock it. It is disturbing this is just another example of anti-Semitism from the Trump camp. It is disturbing this has been going on for two millennia and shows no sign of stopping.

But it is part of a pattern.
Behind the Aegis
(54,066 posts)This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. The excuse of "some of his best friends" (i.e. his daughter is a Jew) is getting old. Does it mean he really isn't anti-immigration given his marriage history? I doubt a single person would try and make that argument.
My favorite are the one's 'pretending' it is a "sheriff's star" or "can't identify what the shape really is".
