And just what exactly are you going to do when you do indeed "get to the bottom'?
You're upset that the entirety of DU isn't falling all over themselves with concern over the same thing you are so concerned about?
No one with an ounce of compassion isn't concerned or alarmed or thoughtful or anything else about what happened in Bangladesh. But most people are capable of having that concern and not rushing to DU and making sure YOU know it.
There is no "nefarious agenda". There is however, the mind numbing regularity with which people are bombarded with mankind's continued inhumanity. Sooner or later people go..."Oh...look at that...another one"

(5,504 posts)I will only have time to give you one recent example. When the breaking news of the terrorist attacks
in Bangladesh first appeared on the TV/internet... I was very curious to see if anyone would post this
inconvenient truth here on DU. What I saw here were post after post after post of anti Trump OPs...and NOTHING
about the human slaughter that was occurring in real time in another part of the world. It was as if a brigade of ostriches
in unison... decided not to pull their heads out of the sand. The one post that I DID see about Bangladesh... had 507 views and 3
responses. Now ... if you can convince me that there is not a concerted effort to avoid ANY truths about fundamental muslim
extremists prevalent among a certain faction here, I would be curious to hear it.

(19,460 posts)No contact with the hostages. No one knows yet who they are or at least they are not telling the public. No contact with the terrorists. No rushing of the building as of yet but I expect this soon. I there will be many deaths, depending on if the terrorists have bombs strapped to themselves.
