It seems that he would be the person that could help him most on the ticket? I have heard that Trump is considering Christie, Newt, and Pence as possibilities? I don't think either of those would add very much to the floundering campaign of Donald Trump. Huckabee, however, is a darling of the religious right and has the conservative credentials to give conservatives a reason to vote in November. Who do you think Trump will pick as his VP?

(37,748 posts)You may be right. Huckabee not only brings in the Evangelical vote, it allows the perception (and thus the argument) of balance to Trump's vulgarity and his hysterics and screeching.
But nothing Trump has done has really illustrated to me that winning is his end-game. I'm really at the point where I think he's simply in this as another PR stunt.
