How many more need to die or.....
Gabby.
No. The picture of her is painful. I will just shown you the love. Mark holding her hand.
They are sitting on the House Floor Tonight. Our Dems. Love them for this.
John Lewis. Love you.
Sorry, I only showed a few...so many more have died. So many more.
The NRA and the GOP have blood on their hands. There is no amount of washing that will take that stain away.
So much love to you all.

(149,595 posts)It hurts and yet it helps us heal, as we watch our Representatives sitting on the House Floor.
Thank you.

(21,210 posts)been wounded or displaced, millions of them because as some politicians state 'it was a mistake.'
It is interesting that you state you will never forgive them, do you think they should forgive us?
We just made a mistake?
Should we say their names, we cannot even do so, there are too many too mention.

(83,746 posts)I don't want anyone hurt. Ever. Anywhere.

First of all, you are off topic. Address the OP.
Second. This United States is NOT responsible for every ill in this world? We are the only ones responsible? WTF! OMG. I don't know if I should laugh or cry here.

(21,210 posts)this is not off topic, we cannot and should not forget the millions of people that suffered with our "Mistake" of invading Iraq.
We ask 'why do they hate us' but do we ever really examine what we have done to others.
You make a false leap to state that I have implied the US is responsible for every ill in the world and then follow this with WTF and OMG as if to solidify your false assumptions.
What the US does has consequences and many people realize that fact.
"I will never forgive them for this."
Can you at least acknowledge that there are millions of people who might have the same reaction to our shock and awe campaign, people who lost parents, siblings etc.
Do you believe they should just all forgive an invasion that turned their country into rubble and their lives into hell.

(83,746 posts)This OP is about Orlando. Sandy Hook and Gun Violence. Gun Violence in America. It is not about all the ills in this world, and there are many. This OP is about gun violence in America.
Who am I referencing? I reference the NRA and the GOP. I don't know how that could be made any clearer after all that has been done or said.
If You Wish to Start an OP about Iraq. Please Do So. Please Credit the ones Responsible for Shock and Awe.
Bush Cheney Rice Rumsfeld.
Thank you. Good Bye.

(21,210 posts)might it be because our party members are too meek and beholding to campaign contributors to take a stance on important issues.
Fortunately we can always blame the 'other side' and can our party can bet on people falling in line.
Who stood up to Bush etc.?
You conveniently left out the Dems who were complicit in launching the invasion which has left our nation and the world less secure.
Clinton used the Orlando attack to solicit contributions and spoke of defeating terrorists.
You might want to try and separate the isues and place them neatly into some box, but some candidates are using this slaughter as an excuse to kill more people. At some point in the last 14 years we should pause to see if we are winning or not.
Sorry you do not see the connection.
