Joe Biden stay on as VP?

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by hrmjustin (a host of the General Discussion forum).

I think Hillary has the best VP option in sitting Vice President Joe Biden. EVERYBODY loves Joe!! He's definitely a choice that will help to make us stronger together!!

1. Everybody does not want him to remain as veep. His history as an architect of the drug war, for one.

I respect the guy, I wish him well, but no.

Hillary should put someone on the ticket who represents the future, like Gavin Newsom.

or someone like Al Franken could fit that role.

I also suspect Biden isn't exactly chomping at the bit to stay in what is arguably one of the most boring jobs in the universe. Beyond that, putting him on the ticket again without some pressing need would seem off. "It just isn't done" isn't always a good excuse, but it is a noteworthy point.

And yes, like you said, we can reuse the old shirts and bumper stickers.

I know that it is silly, but these things can make a difference.

BTW, I adore Joe Biden. He's the coolest VEEP of my life -- and I was born in the 40's.

This is classic Joe Biden!

on edit: uncut version. Sorry! (Why would they cut it????)

Joe Biden rolled 18 on charisma. Just saying...

After the death of his son.

I like Biden, I think people say weird things in grief, but I don't think she should pick him
