Ken Starr Fired as Baylor Prez for Covering Up Sexual Assault Scandal

Baylor president Kenneth Starr, and not football coach Art Briles, is taking the fall for school’s handling of the ongoing crisis of how the school has handled allegations of sexual assault and domestic violence involving Baylor football players.

The Baylor board of regents fired Starr Tuesday, according to Chip Brown of Horns Digest. Brown, citing a source, reports that Starr could be reassigned to a new role in the Baylor law school without having his pay reduced, and another source indicated that Starr might not go quietly.

Starr could also be terminated and paid a settlement, according to Brown.

Starr is famous for single handedly dismantling the Independent Counsel law. He did this by throwing women in jail in order to force them to accuse Bill Clinton of being a big, mean, bullying rapist jerk bastard. By the time he was done, he was too politically tainted to get the SCOTUS nomination which he (reportedly) was promised, so he had to settle for the presidency of a Texas college. Where he promptly forgot all about protecting women from rapists....

I couldn't make this shit up.

I'm gonna have to give karma a second look. Events such as Starr's comeuppance are so perfectly symmetrical that it revives hope in cosmic justice.
