We're heading to Alaska via British Columbia in our RV.
We have met many Canadians and almost everyone has brought up their disgust and fear of tRump.
One guy joked that the Canadians would have to build a wall to keep Americans out if he became Prez.
To a person they hate him.
This jackass is not liked or respected up here.
OBTW...We're in Dawson Creek now heading up the Alaskan Highway tomorrow. Windy, a little rainy, and warm here. Sporting our "Bernie 2016" bumper sticker all the way!

Human-rights rally planned today outside Trump tower in Vancouver
by Charlie Smith on December 12th, 2015 at 7:46 AM
Today may mark the first time that a candidate for a Republican presidential nomination has ever triggered a demonstration in Vancouver.
At 5 p.m., human-rights activists will gather outside the yet-to-be completed Trump International Hotel & Tower on West Georgia between Thurlow and Bute streets.
The rally is to protest what organizer Imtiaz Popat calls "the growing tide" of Islamophobia in the wake of recent terrorist attacks in Paris and California.
Trump has proposed banning Muslims from entering the United States. He's defended his policy by citing the decision to intern Japanese Americans during the Second World War.
"We will gather at 5 p.m. at Trump tower in Vancouver to show our opposition to this growing hatred and suspicion toward Muslims," Popat said in a news release.
The protest comes two days after International Human Rights Day.

(2,461 posts)Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson has joined a growing chorus of residents who don't want the name of U.S. presidential hopeful Donald Trump to adorn a downtown luxury tower.
For months, Trump, who is campaigning for the Republican nomination, has angered many in the U.S. with his controversial remarks about immigrants. But his latest remarks, calling for a a "total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States," sparked outrage north of the border too.
■Donald Trump's anti-Muslim stance triggers Vancouver tower backlash
Last week, former Vancouver city planner Brent Toderian suggested that Vancouverites should urge the company behind bringing the tower to Vancouver the Holborn Group to remove the name from the building. More than 50,000 have signed a petition urging Holborn to drop Trump's name.
Now, Robertson is adding his voice to the cause. In a letter addressed to Joo Kim Tiah, president and CEO of the Holburn Group, Robertson said, "Trump's name and brand have no more place on Vancouver's skyline than his ignorant ideas have in the modern world.
"It is my hope that you and your company will work quickly to remove his brand and all it represents from your building." the letter said.

(8,646 posts)I used to live in Dawson Creek! My ex is still there. And used to live in what will probably be one of your other stops too...Fort Nelson. Glad it's a little rainy, I heard there were fires up that way - along the Alaska highway just after Fort St. John. Waiting for rain now here in Edmonton.
I remember fondly all the Americans coming through every summer...well some of them. Lots of right wingers during the GWB years sporting their flags from head to flip flops, lol.
Lots of Canadians love Bernie! And yep, we all hate Trump. Although for most, it just confirms what they've always thought about most American voters. You will have fans if they see your Bernie sticker
Have a fun, safe trip!!

Hey, and how about that new Labour Party mayor in London, England? Love Jeremy Corbyn too! This could be spreading! Fingers crossed!
