The offensive, sexist, anti-Clinton badges for sale at a Trump rally

The woman card may not exist, but sexist badges certainly do.....

Meanwhile last night, at a Trump rally in South Bend, Indiana, there was clear evidence that being a woman is no straightforward boon, and the discrimination Clinton faces because of her gender was on display in the form of sexist badges.

Jenna Johnson, a Washington Post political reporter covering the Donald Trump campaign, tweeted a picture of pins bearing offensive slogans, which were for sale outside the rally: “KFC Hillary Special 2 Fat Thighs 2 Small Breasts … Left Wing” read one; “Life’s A Bitch, Don’t Vote For One” went another.

Some Trump supporters on Twitter were quick to point out that the badges weren’t official Trump merchandise and that the slogans had been used against Clinton in her previous campaigns, but that defence is weak when sexism has been so ingrained in Trump’s campaign. Trump is, after all, a man who has said pumping breast milk is "disgusting" and that a woman news anchor who disagreed with him had "blood coming out of her wherever".

and what you are saying doesn't match with my experience.

There are entire categories of criticism reserved for women.
Stay at home moms saying working moms are selfish and harming their children and
working moms saying stay at home moms have it easier
just for one example

Not to mention
Women prefer theoretical male bosses over theoretical female bosses
THe gap narrows if the woman already has experience with a female boss.

also, what you said was that women are the worst critics of women. Women do criticize other women, but LESS so than men criticize female leaders.

both men and women prefer male leaders under certain circumstances (depends on how agentic the job type is), but invariably women prefer female leaders MORE than men prefer female leaders.

there is a consistent bias against women, but it is less from other women than from men.

Proper ladies remain submissive toward and respectful of men. Women who try to rise above their appropriate womanly roles, attempting to step into the realm rightly set aside for men, should expect to suffer indignities. After all, is it not somewhat obscene for women to promote themselves in the public world? Is not the proper place for women at home, caring for children and serving as helpmeets for their husbands?

Now that the Republicans have chosen a strong man as their nominee, it would be gracious of Hillary to stop pretending to run for president and defer to another man.

If she persists in this inelegant and immodest course, we can assume that even more unfortunate disapprobation will be heaped on her, reflecting poorly not just on Hillary, but on Democratic women as a whole.

Its an attack on all women. Why don't you understand that? Donald Trump isn't just talking about Hillary Clinton when he says women are bitches and defines their worth by the way they look, that's been his attitude for decades. Undoubtedly there are women in your life that you hold in some regard, not as brainless, unfeeling collections of body parts for you to sexualize or marginalize them as valueless 2nd class citizens.

Criticise Hillary her her political views if you must, but not her gender.

Trump will garner the vast majority of those women voters, particularly the conservative women who voted for Cruz (60+%).

They're fervent Republicans and will never cross over to vote for Hillary. That leaves Kasich's women voters - 5% or so remaining, statistically insignificant.

You're seriously misunderestimating the hatred Republicans have towards Hillary.

If we're really only talking @ Trump losing Kasich's small percentage of moderate women voters, while the normally apathetic crazy Republicans crawl over glass to vote against Hillary, then Trump does win.

I'm not at all confident that moderate Republican women will vote for Hillary or stay home. I knocked on more than a thousand doors during this primary in 4 states and have had quite a few eye-popping conversations.

In 2012 President Barack Obama was viewed favorably and unfavorably by an equal share of voters, while Republican nominee Mitt Romney scored a net negative of -7. In 2008, both Obama and Sen. John McCain had net positive ratings of 16 and 7 points, respectively.

Oh and for those of you screaming sexism... HORROR! yup and... still protected speech, What is funny is that I saw the same exact vendor at the Sanders and Cruz rally here in San Diego. People make a killing out of this. I talked to the guy for a minute or so. His view, if partisans are that stupid, he will cater to their needs, and wants. In my view he was the most rational person of the lot.

And yes, some of those were also sold at the Cruz rally. After you cover enough of these things, you get pretty inured to this shit. It is kind of funny... you do enough of these, and really... whatever.

In 2004, Rove and his merry band of assholes successfully painted a guy who volunteered to be a human target in Vietnam as a wimp who was somehow "unfit for command" (one of those guys being conspiracy theorist and birther Jerome Corsi, just in case one was wondering if there was a low to which they wouldn't stoop) and a draft dodging scion with a legacy of failure into a strong leader and a he-man cowboy.

Small wonder why we think nominating a carnival barker is perfectly normal but Bernie Sanders getting as far as he has is somehow "Commie Crazy Talk".

I fear we haven't seen the bottom yet. Assholes who don't see sexism will commit it en masse. This might just be the ugliest election in American history.
