Hubby bought the Single by UB40 when we were traveling through the UK. But he had actually marched for Gary in NYC when he was in college in the early 70's. He also created a website mid 2000s when there was a renewed effort to get him released and helped to raise funds for Gary for when he got out. Finally that day has come. 41 years! His mom passed away while he was in. I have sons and I cannot imagine such a hellish scenario for them. It would crush me, body and soul. I am so happy he is free and somewhere I believe his mom is rejoicing.

(3,977 posts)it out in so many ways. Many know them for Red Red Wine and other lovers rock^reggae" but that album got me hooked.
Their rendition of "Strange Fruit" had me in tears.
