Money is not the solution...money is the problem.

It is called the mother's milk of politics. We are told that the SuperPacs are ready to throw $4 billion dollars into the pot. People shrieked when the President's goal was to raise a billion dollars for this campaign.

It is no doubt but that money runs our political system. Money owns our political system. But money cannot vote. Only people can vote.

Money can attempt to persuade people to vote one way or the other. Money can distort and lie about one candidate or the other. Money can influence how the media covers political races.

These vast sums of money contributed by single special interests is a cancer upon our body politic. Nothing can be fixed so long as this reality exists.

Instead of trying to match the billionaires in contributions, we should be trying to expose them. More money is not going to get you better government from either Party. It is sending us all down a rat hole.
