Sabrina Grant, Mom, Outraged After Teacher's Aide Pulled Out Son's Wrong Tooth

Sabrina Grant, mother of a fourth grade student with autism at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School, is upset after her son's teacher's aide not only pulled out his tooth at school, but managed to pull out one that wasn't loose, CBS Boston reports.

Chris, 10, went to school with a loose tooth, something his teacher said was causing a distraction as the student had his hands in his mouth during class.

“We pulled [the tooth] out today and had him checked by the nurse immediately after," the teacher said in an email to the student's mother. "He is fine. You will be receiving his tooth this afternoon when he arrives home. If you are bothered by us pulling his tooth, please let me know. I apologize for this in advance.”

The situation worsened when Chris came home and Grant realized they removed a molar instead of the loose tooth.

There would have pain, blood, and a lot of effort on the aide's part. Poor little guy.

My mate Mick over her in the UK did a knee at work. He's a builder and had just been off for months waiting for a rotor cusp reattachment op. Under the circumstances the knee op was treated as urgent.

They operated on the wrong knee. They operated on the correct one the following day.

The damages claim against our NHS is pending.
