Start stashing away a rainy day fund. You need to plan for a yr being out of work. Don't waste your time trying to get back in a your current level or salary.

Get a freckin job just to keep your head screwed on and then start networking for an upgrade.

of the replaced worker.

And said: "While this PC looks great - I can't buy from a company that just threw 27,000 people to the curb. Because I'm guessing the CEO is still there - and she made the bad decisions that led to this. And all my companies $100k plus business is leaving with me. Thanks! Leads me to believe that most, if not all, of the 27,000 will be workers here in the US.
