Are you posting something about the Democratic presidential primaries?

New discussion threads about the Democratic primaries must be posted in the General Discussion: Primaries forum. All other threads may be posted in the General Discussion forum (please be aware that there are certain other restrictions on what can be posted in the General Discussion forum).

Forum or Group: General Discussion (Forum)

Forum purpose: Discuss politics, issues, and current events. Posts about Israel/Palestine, religion, guns, showbiz, or sports are restricted in this forum. Posts about the Democratic primaries, conspiracy theories and disruptive meta-discussion are forbidden. For more information, click here.

I thought Democratic candidate primary related discussions went in the new one, and all the other discussions, minus Israel/Palestine, religion, guns, showbiz, or sports went here. It turns out I had that wrong.

Now I'm just totally confused.

ETA: I think it's subjective depending on the people working behind the scenes. My confusion was from a few days ago, and I suspect since you made an OP tonight yours is more recent. Either way, if it applies to a current candidate, then its purpose is to generate biased conversation. Which is the reason for the other forum, right? Or is that wrong? I'm so confused.

They should rename GDP "General Discussion DEMOCRATIC PRIMARIES only"

And "GD everything else AND Republican primaries"

Or "GD:Trump"

I just noticed you're one of the "powers behind the scenes" from another post here. Gee, is my face red.

I made my edit after you made your reply to me, but before I saw your reply. You DID NOT have a chance to see it before you made your reply.

Just so everyone here knows that fact. Grudges are made of less stuff than this on the internet! I really want it to be perfectly clear here, when I posted my edit your reply was there already. You replied to all my words before "ETA" only.

That is all.

I wanted to make sure everyone else out there knew you didn't see my edit before replying even more than stating for the record I'd made a total fool of myself.

I'm a pro at making a fool of myself, but I didn't want to drag you down with me by association.
