(7,968 posts)And I knew that the changes we are now observing were coming. What surprises me is that I thought then that by the time it got this bad people would be taking drastic action. I guess that was the naive part of my thinking back then.

(7,968 posts)And they will grow up to be voting adults in about a year actually. They will have to rely on information from us - our teaching - to make an informed decision. Yeah! I have an important function. I get to help young people understand what is happening to the planet.
