Woman returns lost phone, rewarded with a beating

The 53-year-old victim told officers she found an iPhone near a 7-Eleven store on Lafayette Boulevard and contacted its owners to give it back to them.

The victim met the owners of the iPhone near Mr. Dee’s Restaurant on the 700 block of Lafayette Boulevard, police said.

According to authorities, the victim gave the couple the phone and they gave her a small amount of money in return.

The victim was walking away when the male grabbed her from behind and threw her to the ground. He took the money back and kicked her while she was still on the ground, officials say.

7. In the mid 1970's I found an endorsed cashiers check

for several thousand dollars in the parking lot of the bank. I took it into the bank and turned it in to a teller.
