with no one from Texas involved in it.
All the "answers" from the investigation so far raised more questions than they answered.
I'd like to know how she could have "hung" herself. She would have needed a way to get her feet/body clear of the floor. How did she accomplish that?
The amount of mj in her system needs an explanation as she was in there for more than a day.
Were there ligation marks on her neck? Spots on her eyes from strangulation or lack of oxygen? Nothing was mention of any marks or spots.
These questions are just off the top of my head, I'm sure I could think of more with a report in front of me.
Just thought of other questions.
What were the contents of her stomach? That's part of an autopsy.
What was under her fingernails? That's part of an autopsy.
These need answers and I really don't think Texas wants them answered.

(35,383 posts)But that's a detail.
1. No need to get the feet off the floor. Most hangings in prison occur with the suicide able to stop it just by standing, if only on tip-toe.
2. The mj concentration is an issue. There are two explanations possible. Those should be disambiguated with more tests or evidence. Patience.
3. I'm unaware of the entire autopsy report's being released. The autopsy probably did include these things. However, we can't conclude definitively one way or the other in the absence of the full report. "No mention" means precisely not--"no mention." I suspect that most of the last 3 questions were answered. You just weren't important enough to have your questions addressed.
"Texas" is a big state for such all-encompassing distrust and ill will to be directed at it. Even "Waller County" has 50k people, mostly African-American (if we include Prairie View's population).
