An armed volunteer guarding the U.S. Army Recruiting Center accidentally fired a shot just after noon, according to Lancaster police.

I was out here and was talking to a guy who wanted to look at my AR-15," said Reed in an interview with the Eagle-Gazette. "I was trying to clear the weapon and hand it over to him when it went off. I thought it was empty and must have missed it."
Reed said he had the gun pointed down at the time and the bullet hit the pavement

There's an all-star guard: Happy to bring the weapon that the whack-o uses to attack the recruiting station. And so considerate, too: All the whack-o had to bring is bullets. The only thing that went wrong is the guard was a greater idiot than the whack-o counted on him to be.

The right is known for hair-brained conspiracy theories like FEMA camps and chem-trails, but such an obvious display as heavily armed boobs menacingly patrolling military recruitment centers blows right past them.
