New Photos Show Bush Administration Reaction to 9/11 Attacks (graphic pic warning)

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/government-elections-politics/new-photos-show-bush-administration-reaction-to-911-attacks/

July 24, 2015, 2:50 pm ET

In never-before-released photographs taken on Sept. 11, 2001, the shock, horror and gravity of the terrorist attacks can be read on the faces of President George Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, their wives Laura and Lynne, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice, CIA Director George Tenet and other senior Bush and Cheney staffers.

The photos were released in response to a Freedom of Information Act request filed by Colette Neirouz Hanna, coordinating producer for the Kirk Documentary Group, which covered the Bush administration in many films for FRONTLINE, including Bush’s War, Cheney’s Law and The Dark Side.

I see a smile lurking just below the surface on Cheney and, a little wonder on his face as well, about how big the explosion was and how quickly the buildings came down. A man who enjoyed the show. That really is how he, in particular. looks.

One looks like he just looked at his watch. Most of them look bored, really. I can't get over there. The rest of us felt...terror, horror, sadness. They show none of those types of expressions.

Yet Air Force Jets didn't arrive in DC until a few minutes before 10 am, almost 20 minutes after the Pentagon was hit.

Does this sound credible? After a ~50 year "cold war" with a nuclear armed opponent? No AA batteries around the pentagon to protect against attack airplanes?

Porter Goss says airplane attacks were always considered, making a liar out of Condi Rice.

I see how the f*** can we spin this to our advantage. I don't see the blinding, numbing, what's next that I felt.

I don't see minds working to invoke Shock Doctrine. -That- came later, iirc, Rice made a statment that -every- circumstance presented opportunity.
