Here's the funny thing about Trump, as a candidate. he's such a narcissist, that he is absolutely certain he doesn't need votes to win. So half his campaign, if nominated, will undoubtedly be spent pissing off voters becuase he doesn't care.

And then we can count Sanders' 50-state sweep as another example of trump being unable to run a single goddamn thing.

And kept VA and FL for 2012

Sanders has made it clear he's not writing off the South, and while I don't think Mississippi is going to be a swing state or something, I'm sure Sanders will do better than you might expect in the South.

Who do we want to win the Republican nomination?

1. the batshit crazy horrible guy, because there's no way he can win the general election, or

2. the more sane and moderate guy, because there's always a chance the Republican can win the election?

grab votes from the center and win the election. Romney, McCain, Bush, Dole, and Bush Sr. all fit that mold.

I do not think the folk who support Trump are the the electorate that will win the day next year.
