MSNBC president Phil Griffin poured cold water on swirling rumors of a possible Keith Olbermann return Thursday, telling staffers at a town hall that he hasnt spoken with the former network star.
They were asked about Keith, and Phil said he hasnt spoken to him, a network insider told TheWrap. Of course (NBC News/MSNBC Chairman Andrew) Lack stayed out of that question.
Rumors of Olbermanns return to the network at which he once starred began shortly after the anchors recent exit from ESPN, which didnt renew his contract.

(21,925 posts)than UpChuck will ever have in his fondest dreams. They have long been canned from their shows while the UpChuck hangs on, and on, and on, and on. The man is a non-entity. If MSNBC wants to go in a more "hard news" direction I don't believe it, because UpChuck is the farthest thing from a real journalist as you can get.
