My Son's Bestest Friend dog rescue by Julie Dispain Stearns, KY
I'm way behind on posting. I've been so busy since Wednesday. I'm babysitting again this week. Then I have two weeks off to slow down and catch up on stuff.

This little guy was the only one left and no one wanted him because everyone said he was ugly. He was getting ready to be "disposed" of. He was out of shape somewhat because he was a mixed breed. As soon as my son looked at him he knew that was his dog. The little guy looked so relieved to ride in my van and find his new home with us. Do you know that this little guy was crying! There were tears rolling down his little face! We never regretted saving him that day. He loves to play and he is friends with everyone. He not only grew up to be a best friend to my son and was there growing up with my son through his teenage years and his "little brother" and my little boy, he grew into a very handsome dog! I was so glad we rescued him because he would have had a horrible fate. I do strongly believe that if people would just open their hearts and their homes, they would find their best friend in a dog.
