I had an epiphany. For years I never understood the Repub mindset. Now I do.

The epiphany occurred after I was told a fascinating piece of information about the amount of energy the brain consumes and how that pertains to the sea slug.

It is a fact that no matter what life form, brains use massive amounts of energy. Sea slugs, for instance are born with brains and use them to locate a perfect rock. But once they find a rock, where they will park themselves for life, they eat their brains because their brains become a useless waste of energy.

The epiphany is that it is pointless to understand the Repub mind set because there is no mind to understand.

indeed eat its own brain, granted its a tiny brain but that only increases the striking similarity to Repubs.

Finally, it even absorbs the rudimentary little “brain” (cerebral ganglion) that it used to swim about and find its attachment place.
