after the cricket. I know it's going on now - and since USA already has two goals, it should be an exciting match.

They shut down germany. Little rough around the edges, I'll admit, but, effective.

Not the fastest, but incredibly consistent, reliable and smart.

Rapinoe is my second favorite.

And all the young players coming up are very, very promising.

Love that our American players are playing solid possession ball.

after the way they've played their last few matches, but I'm pleasantly surprised. I have a soft spot for Abby Wambach, having met her years ago when one of our daughters' soccer team was trained by some of the Washington Freedom players. She was one of them, and she was really funny and nice.

Offensively, we weren't playing well. Defensively, 500+ minutes without a goal scored on you; especially at this level of play is amazing.

Japan won against Netherlands and Canada lost to England.

I think tomorrow is Japan against England, will be going to the fanzone for that game.

Tickets at the finals here in BC are sold out but since Canada has gone home, am hoping England will win. However, if Germany wins, they will have two celebrations, the mens world cup and the womens world cup.

I am sorta backing Japan.

I hope the best team wins.
