A man who operates reactors at a nuclear power plant was thrill seeking when he put on a mask and hijacked a womans car at gunpoint, DuPage County authorities said Friday.
Michael Buhrman, a senior reactor operator at Dresden Nuclear Power Plant in Morris, was charged with aggravated vehicular hijacking.
Authorities said the 31-year-old Coal City man was armed with a loaded handgun and wearing a Halloween mask that resembled an elderly man when he approached a woman about 10 p.m. Wednesday in a Kohls parking lot in Woodridge.
After stealing the victims 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, Buhrman fled and was pursued by a witness who called police, authorities said. No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.

doesn't happen they are run by sound rational human beings.

Edit: and on first read, I thought this story was about a nuclear engineer who got his thrills by hijacking DU pages.
