Patton's comment: "Young Mitt, counter-protesting a peaceful sit-in, before fleeing to France to avoid the draft. Check the psycho eyes."

Some folks are born made to wave the flag
Ooh, they're red, white and blue
And when the band plays "Hail to the chief"
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no senator's son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, no
Yeah!
Some folks are born silver spoon in hand
Lord, don't they help themselves, oh
But when the taxman comes to the door
Lord, the house looks like a rummage sale, yes
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no millionaire's son, no
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, no
Some folks inherit star spangled eyes
Ooh, they send you down to war, Lord
And when you ask them, "How much should we give?"
Ooh, they only answer More! more! more! yoh
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no military son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, one
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate one, no no no
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate son, no no no

(30,885 posts)The other day I posted a graphic that I found on (of all places) FreeRepublic. It's a tasty yet damning recap of many of Romney's flip-flops, including Vietnam. You'll see his comments on that at the top left of the graphic.

July of 1966 through Feb of 1969 -- the height of the war. He comes back to the USA only after Nixon takes office and his father gets a job in the Nixon administration.

So he forcibly cut another student's hair before growing his own out. Then he told others to go to Vietnam before running away to France. He has 2 positions on EVERYTHING (or is his position simply 'You can't and I can.')
