(I'm not sure if this should go here in GD or in H&M)
Zoe sent a "Happy Mothers' Day" tweet and I thanked her in response.
I called her office to ask for help some months ago, and got a call right back. After two good long conversations with me and one with Mom, one of her staffers helped Mom by calling the bank in question. I don't know what happened during that conversation but the bank's behavior toward Mom changed. She got a real chance to fight the action and so far, she's winning now.
But, I wanted to suggest that anyone who has been helped in this way find an occasion to thank their representative. We have so little power against the banksters. But, we do have the ability to let our reps know that when they help us, we appreciate it.
Fwiw.

They need to know we appreciate their efforts on whatever our issues are and realize that lobbyists are continually giving them recognition when their issues come up. Actually they express their appreciation BEFORE the issue at hand is even addressed by the lawmaker.

I guess it's easier to attend to things when they are going wrong than when they are going right.
