(53,339 posts)Just a little while ago I was looking for my portable transistor radio and my leisure suit. Then I remembered it's 2015.

(53,339 posts)Not only that, I wore them a lot at the U.S. Capitol while interning with a Dem Rep in 1977.
In my defense, I can only say that at least they were not green. One was brown and the other was cream.
I have photos, but they are not digitized and I am NOT going to scan and post them!!!

(17,997 posts)I want to see you all dressed up in your powder blue suit with the white belt and shoes.

(53,339 posts)When our REAL, beloved, HS journalism and AP English teacher was away on sabbatical, the guy who filled in wore a white belt and white bucks and was a terrible teacher--and I was stuck with him as adviser when I became editor of our paper. I'll spare you the details, but the guy was a fucking nightmare!
I really do have photos, and I think one is a large B&W professional shot of my Rep and me (with me wearing my cream leisure suit ). If I run across it I may even post it here, even though it may be locked as flamebait, lol.

Do it! Post it! I want to see you in a leisure suit!

I shouldn't talk...about my purple crushed velvet hot pants in 9th grade....and 4 inch platform flip flops in 11th grade.
Those flip flops were dangerous! Especially when your feet were sweaty.
