Fundy Christians can dish out the persecution and discrimination. Let's see how well they can take what they dish out.

I have almost made the comment several times that the kind of anti-religious rhetoric being whipped up here would in most societies be the precursor to some kind of discrimination or persecution. And here we are!

i am very glad that as a Democrat, this is not the position of the national party.

Because Islam is so tolerant of homosexuality.

They would never use this law to discriminate.

That's why the Indiana law made it as far as it did.

Because the GLBT activists keep going after tiny mom and pop places, the GLBT movement is being seen as Goliath to the family bakery's David. When your movement can bring down a Mozilla executive, you look like Goliath. When your little bakery can be shut down because you don't make a particular kind of cake that international activists (with money and lawyers) want you to make, you look like David.

Just bad optics. And that's how you get this law.

You fail to explain all of the anti-gay laws before the gay community learned how to fight back. What excuse do you give for that? You don't. You just hate us for fighting back and think we should roll over and take whatever discrimination bigots throw at us. Do you ever post about anything else but your hatred for the GLBT community? I've never seen you post about anything else.

which were considered incompatible with a gay-friendly corporation.

In the case of the florist in WA, it wasn't the customer who sued her, it was the state. Why should a business owner who offers a product for sale, be able to arbitrarily pick and choose who to sell it to? I thought we settled this with the Civil Rights Act.

Any time they don't get their way, they scream "persecution." This "Christians are being discriminated against" shit has been going on for decades. I think an "Everyone is Served Here" sign is a more appropriate action. Better to support those who are discriminated against than stoop to the level of the bigots--and to let the bigots know you aren't one of them.

I am not condoning discriminating against Christians. We must answer their madness in some way. They are using their persecution complex to advance their bigoted agenda and are saying you cannot thwart us because you are anti religion if you do. All I am saying is they are fair game.

against them. That is how much of a complex they have. Funny how many in this thread are thinking the same way. I think they missed your point. It flew right over their head. A bumper sticker does not amount to persecution or discrimination. Yet, many in this thread are seeing it the same way as they do. That is how spoiled and doted upon and coddled they really are. People will side with them over something as simple as a bumper sticker suggestion.

I see nothing with making fun of them and pointing out their bigotry. It needs to be exposed anywhere and everywhere. It cannot go unchecked. They have such thin skins. I think they know they are a dying breed and that people have been leaving religions in droves over the last number of years.
