(23,664 posts)The NCAA, corporately owned and socially wrong as it is about practically everything, isn't the bad guy in this case.
Putting pressure on the sponsors so that they will put pressure on the NCAA who will in turn put pressure on the governor and legislature of the state of Indiana is just not going to happen in six days.

(22,459 posts)the anti-gay bullshit law they just put into place. People are already talking about boycotting Indiana why not boycott the sponsors of the NCAA to pressure them to move?

(5,585 posts)And the law everyone is bitching about is happening right now. thousands and thousands of people have made irreversible travel plans already. Infrastructure required to support events like the NCAA championship can't be moved or implemented in a few weeks time. The contracts they have, all agreed to years ago, are infeasible to break at this late date.
If nobody else ever goes to Indiana, I'd feel great, but asking a nationwide event like the ncaa championship to move with just a few weeks notice is simply not possible.
