Mitch McConnell pledges fast action for secretive trade deals (TPP) and Fast Track (TPA).

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/01/07/mcconnell-fast-track_n_6432118.html

"I’m happy the president has now become a born-again free trader. It’s high time," McConnell said. "He’s only got two years left, and we think this is an area where we can make progress and you can look for us to act on TPA."

The negotiations are over and proposed contents of the two huge deals that TPA would facilitate are secret, except for leaks about the deals that have sparked alarm from labor and environmental advocates, among others.

6. Excuse me. Are you SERIOUSLY trying to pretend that the President is not pushing Fast Track?

That this will be the Republicans' fault and they will unfairly point their fingers at poor Obama?

No, Obama is no victim here. This Red versus Blue garbage is the brazen, Orwellian TWISTING OF REALITY we are fed in a shameless, lying propaganda state. Red and Blue are happily working together here, as they do on all the most aggressive corporate assaults on this nation.

No, 2+2 does not equal five. The President is not a victim here. The President has been aggressively trying to shove this piece of shit down our throats for some time now.

too with a handful of blue dogs. Free trade republicans love these trade deals and after passing them will sit back on their hemorrhoid asses and point their shit stained fingers at the democrats for the next 30 years for bringing it to a vote.

16. Do you understand what 'Fast Track' means? It does not mean to hurry through something.

It means an up-or-down vote with no amendments and no riders. Doesn't mean Congress -and by extension, the rest of us- can't take the time to examine the final treaty. It can be rejected and reworked at that time, if needed.

7. The President and Mitch McConnell. Bipartisan oligarchy, not gridlocked democracy.
