Hi-Res photos from the NYC gas explosion and fire

These photos really show what happened. I salute those firefighters. You have to be pretty brave to take something like this on. It's the worst destruction I've seen in NYC since 9/11. There was even a police car destroyed which is a haunting reminder of the past.

The mobile version is a little easier to navigate, but either works.

The pictures are stunning, and awful.

And I agree about saluting the firefighters. They run in when everyone else runs out.

and much easier to see.
firefox lets you choose between "basic page style" and "no style". Normally the basic style used, but "no style" often solves page problems, like too small pics.

And those are some fascinating pics.
I heard 3 buildings eventually went down???
