times two, three or ten, because war with Iran would be war with the entire Shi'ia population of the world, and would also entail an all-out war between the Sunnis and Shi'ia with us smack, dab in the middle. For years, or decades.

If Israel wants to destroy us in order to escape our influence, this is how they're going to do it.

We have enough of our own problems right here in relatively peaceful North America.

Iran has never been an aggressor, the Ayatollah has issued Fatwas against nuclear weapons and aggression against other countries. Time to move them, and the Muslims in general out of the dark ages. To hell with Bibi. He wants war. All he wants.

by unilateral action or the military.

How much weight should the US assign to the concerns of the government of Israel when making these negotiations?

Very little except in the sense that a successful peace deal will be good for Israel and everyone else in the region by limiting, one would hope, the possibility of use of nuclear weapons in the area. While those weapons, if ever used, would be aimed at specific targets, the fallout - both literal and figurative - would affect everyone.

Peace deals are ALWAYS better than wars - period. Too bad Baby Bush
didn't try that before we "shocked and awed" Iraq.

I have no problem with Iran having nuclear power for power production, I do have a problem with Iran having a nuclear weapon.

As it stands now it is likely that, if Iran becomes a nuclear power, then Saudi Arabia will follow shortly there after. It is the Shia religious elements in the Iranian government and parts of the military that concerns the US, Israel and the various Sunni countries in the region, not the average Iranian.

Nor was it in our interests to go war with Iraq, who also was not our enemy.

What did the American People get from the War in Iraq?

According to Feinstein and Rogers (Chairs of Senate and House Intel Committees):

'We are in MORE danger now than ever'!

So aside from thousands of dead soldiers, orphaned children, untold numbers of wounded soldiers, physically and emotionally, for life, a huge suicide rate among those who were deployed to these war zones, a bill of probable Trillions which no ordinary citizen benefited from.

So what were the positives of the Iraq War? I can't think of ONE from the pov of the American people.

The US spends more on it's military than every other country COMBINED. We have some nerve questioning others that try to defend themselves.
