That seems so biblical - seizing the money and property of non-Christians, leaving them to starve and out in the elements.
At least they are up front about the greed.

He is the Messiah, after all. The Messiah gets to keep his money because he's the church and state all rolled into one. Taking money from Cruz is like stealing money from God, right?
