French far-right leader, Le Pen, promises referendums on EU exit and bringing back death penalty.

Far-right MEP Marine Le Pen told Greek TV channel Mega Tuesday that if she is elected French president in 2017, she will hold a referendum later that year on whether France should exit the EU. She already promised a referendum on reintroducing the death penalty.

In the US the far-right would support a referendum to make the death penalty mandatory in every state and one to dismantle the EU (socialism at its worst in their view) or perhaps to have the US exit the UN.

except possibly not QUITE as RW economically. But similarly racist and nutty.

And yes, the far-righties attitude to the EU is very much like the teabagger attitude to the UN. They would indeed shut down the EU altogether if they had the power. Or, rather, they wouldn't; because too many of them are MEPs, riding the EU gravy train while denouncing it. You wouldn't believe that far-righties could ever be hypocrites, would you?!
